" I'm Brian Weber please be joined by IndyCar driver Graham rail Gramm thanks for taking the time this has to be a very exciting time of the year for you getting at. For the Indy 500. What makes this race differed from all the rest."

" Vomit I think that. Known thing and Indy 500 always think about all the tradition and history that goes along with -- race and obviously it's exciting now being in the Centennial Lara. Of the speedway so you know for -- it's it's exciting to be year's exciting times of the speedway and I think the reason as I said the reason that this race is more important than any other as because of the duration of the event I think. It it's only second to the Kentucky Derby I believe. So when you when you look at that way it's that's pretty special. -- dad Bobby won the Indy 51986. That was before you were born but what are some of the memory he share with you about his victory. Well I mean it is obvious it was before my time but this certainly. You know watching it you know what it does the way it's affected his life and and the way it's changed him as a parson. Of course you know anybody that wins Indy 500 it it it changes your life and away that I don't think any other sporting event really can. And and watching. That way and it and it's it's always tough to really understand the importance of until you're actually involved or our competitor in the race. But -- certain -- I think that we got a great shot this year it is for the McDonald's team in. And I'm I'm certainly keep my fingers crossed. It was recently announced that -- Letterman completed a one race deal that the car this year by a hundred. Even though he family is all business once you get on the wheels up minutes OA's business but. Yeah I mean when it comes to competing against his team I think. It's. -- you always want to be adamant anything in but they're they're good team but they'll be dancing I think Oreo was pretty quick today and -- They'll be right that no doubt. This will be your second time running it in the how much more comfortable are you this year. Well mean it's the whole entire year I've -- a lot more comfortable stepping up to mcdonalds -- this season and and coming back to India I think that the performance so far speaks for itself mean. The entire McDonald's team -- really stepped -- up call our fourth is good for Austin that they've had two poles for races now so we're looking very good but. Of course you know and we look forward to the race and I think that. Although I do feel a lot more comfortable and confident here there's a lot of work to be done and that's or focusing on. Graham how important is starting position in the race. I mean starting positions always important. But the thing about it is that it is 500 miles and so. But a lot of time make mistakes and -- a lot time for those behind catch up finally what kind of race should fans expect he'll Memorial Day weekend. But the thing is you know this season and IndyCar Series it's been overall very competitive and even when you look at the time and practice and everything else. It's it's been tight here than it is here. And I think it's going to be want to close this race -- we've had a long long time and certainly you know we've seen on the the the races in the past is past couple races. Everybody's been running really close together has been quite a lot of passing so. It should be quite exciting. Okay Graham we appreciate you taking the time for more racing video keep a log on the foxsports.com I'm Bryan Webber will he back."
