Long before the -- insulin became a part of magic history a casual conversation sparked the effort to bring the NBA to Orlando. That Philadelphia seventy sixers general manager Pat Williams was riding to the Orlando airport with the local businessman -- Hewitt and John Olsen. And I just erratic question I said there would be NBA ever going to Florida. And of both of that sit here on actual where were you put the team Miami or Tampa. And both of them wheeled around on me like I had made the biggest insult they submit their place it's here in Orlando. Season."

You know we're in the playoffs and Philadelphia get a call from -- one night. Think -- we -- a better part of this as we can go always said if he'll come down and headed up beach and we'll go forward. --"

" And I made the decision to come. And in mid June of 1986 we made the announcement we're going to court."

Ticket sales efforts were not stop. Williams engaged celebrities and help frequent press conference system mark milestones and whatever it sought to keep the momentum going. So we had -- hit when we did because the owners meetings in the early fall of 867 Arizona that was that was. The moment of truth that we've missed that little window if we wouldn't be sitting here today."
