" The Phillies are the defending World Series champions. They're a team that always seems to rise to big moments. Even though they haven't played well down the stretch virtually everyone around the game expects that to change once -- again. However I seemed quite a few problems here really with every aspect of the team. Let's start with the rotation. Cliff -- at six ERA in his last seven starts. He's thrown a career high number of innings he simply isn't pitching the same way he did when he was with Cleveland and then after coming over the Phillies in the trade. -- what are we going to see from him. We know we saw last year World Series MVP hero of the postseason. But he hasn't been that pitcher all season. Joe Blanton five to have probably the fourth starter fine as well but really the Phillies from now agent starting pitching that we all talk about. It isn't there. The Phillies bullpen another issue. We're going to close Charlie Manuel might not have any idea himself. And then finally go to their offense. -- we all know it's very accurate we all know that their power throughout that lineup. But Utley struggled down the stretch Ibanez wasn't the same in the second half even Jayson -- held off a little bit. Hey we all expect them to perform better in the post season I like the Rockies series. Bottle Jimenez might be the best starting pitcher in this series Aaron Cook looks like he's healthy again. And clearly the Rockies would benefit -- Jorge Della Rosa was healthy for game three. But if not Jason Marquis will be a reasonable -- Now the Rockies -- we all talk about their struggles against left handed pitchers and you'll see a slew of left handed starters in this series. But frankly a little bit overstated. I know there were sub 500 team in games started at left handers during the regular season. But they also fourth in -- yes against lefties overall. Pretty good. That left handed hitters Helton Seth Smith and hop. Don't particularly struggle against left handed pitching and again the Phillies left handed pitching right now isn't all that warmer. -- to put it all together. The Phillies rotation question the bullpen question in the profits of questions. That a goal at the Rockies here to go with the Rockies in more."
