" Going into the playoffs a rematch of last year's NLCS. Team very unlikely. Both the Dodgers in the Phillies had significant questions. But both of those teams answered those questions in the opening round the Phillies even more convincingly -- the Dodgers. I frankly had my doubts about the Phillies rotation. Cliff -- struggled down the stretch six point 13 ERA in his last seven regular season starts. Cole Hamels who has been inconsistent all year. Well we still have a question about Hamels but Lee is the best starter in this series. We sought against the rock two runs in sixteen in the third innings of one point 10 ERA. But he will not be available to pitch until game three. The Phillies can bring him back in game six on normal rest if they want to save him for game seven if that's necessary. The Phillies also will have to let. The bullpen with the Phillies well I'm still muscle I don't know how anyone can be sold totally. But we saw some encouraging signs against the rock. Bradley -- in -- the first little -- the second quite impressive. He -- some links to sliders to Troy Tulowitzki. I'm not sure he's back but Charlie Manuel can mix and match in the late innings using Mattson the lefthander Scott air. And now a new Bradley at one with seemingly more confidence. And then there's the Phillies off. Dormant for part of September but revived in the Colorado series. We saw with -- how we worked with Victorino. The Phillies still need to get Jimmy rounds going and an issue for them all season. He was not that -- in the division series five for nineteen overall. But he did have to -- ninth inning hits in both games three and four. If the Phillies get him going it will be a huge role. Now you look at the Dodgers and it's quite different team in the Phillies saw last year in the annals yes. No Derek Lowe -- Chad Billingsley in the rotation most likely. And bill Manny Ramirez at least what he once last year. That said the Dodgers are still a very impressive club here -- and courage all might not include the just yet. But he is a left handed force most likely will -- games two and six we can stay at home Dodger Stadium. He's overrated season at Dodgers stadium -- two. And the Dodgers rotation beyond Khrushchev has a lot of questions. Randy Wolf no one's idea of -- Hiroki Kuroda could be recovered from a herniated disk in his neck but no one's quite sure yet. That said if the dodgers' lack and it did in the rotation they have a significant advantage in the bullpen just as they did against the Cardinals. The Dodgers bullpen is the best in the National League being the best in the majors. If the Dodgers starters can somehow get to the bullpen with the lead well then their task as the team becomes much easier. Now getting that we could be problematic. Phillies have all those left handed starters. In our country in there in particular is neutralized by a left handed pitching. Still we've seen from off field for Kyle in September into the post season. The same dynamic leadoff man he once was in the -- For -- can be huge difference -- here six for twelve division series still could run a bit if he gets on. Dodgers lineup obviously benefit. Which brings us finally to Manny Ramirez if he's old -- or something close to it that -- greatly benefit the Dodgers. And we see some signs against the Cardinals. And he might be snapping at some big wings in game three. A better looking hitter overall. So put an altogether and where do we stand. Frankly this series that could go either way. But I liked what I again and seeing from the Phillies. As the team that again showing its toughness its resolve all of those. And doubles that they showed last year on the way to winning the World Series the Dodgers have some of those qualities to. Not a team to be overlooked as the Cardinals blurred in the division series. Still really tough to pick against the Phillies right now after what we saw from them against Colorado. Phillies instead. October 16."
