" I'm Dennis -- is a four races left in the chase for the cup I'm pleased to be joined by Carl Edwards and Carl. Back in April you're involved in a horrific crash at Talladega. Whether any reservations about returning to detractors something like that happens."

" the only thing that that that really stuck with me about that -- you know the spring was the fact that you know that. We're close disasters have over the fans injured in -- luckily you know everyone's okay in in new mate did at that only thing that really stuck with me as a race car driver. I've had wrecked it -- hurt a lot worse than -- battle was just the wildest looking you know so. Some break. I'm good -- feel good about it I'm. You know I'm excited to to give -- back in the car here and hopefully get through this race at notre all right after the crash you got out of the car ran across the finish line. Was that an ominous to Ricky Bobby. -- at the yeah a little bit and like my brother Toby after the race that you know I know everybody thought that funny that you thought about it it's. I did I thought hey you know not that close site. I'm of this count for anything wound up across that finish line as is too close does that and look at it. -- you had nine wins in 2008 but haven't taken the checkered flag this season. I know you wanna win every race but what -- win at Talladega be even more special. Well winning here really would be extremely special considering. You know definitely considering what happened the -- so. You know -- I wanted to win every race I think about the other day you know we haven't had a winter season. At nine -- season like that in -- wins over two seasons as an event that that the problem isn't me because wins here lately in them. Again you raise -- to do that are -- a -- you know team has been working really hard. We're gonna not take chances and it you don't go for these last few races and -- you think Talladega should be included in the chase for the cup. -- it's tough question. It would probably be more fair if it weren't just because the chain or. Things out of the dressed individual driver's control that to happen so. You know that he opera at that point championship could be cited it at distract. And it could have nothing to do a driver's skill or team ability your car performance could be. The high potential for something like that impact the championship here so it is a wildcard. And it's arguable whether it should be in the chase or not in the chase it's just been evaluate champion determined you know. And finally Jimmy Johnson appears to be headed to a fourth straight championship is it good for the sport to have one driver dominate like he has. Not good for me -- That is as -- as if it but it -- of his position to be great you know so I think it. Jimmy John and the 48 team those guys say they deserve what they have they've done a great job they'd -- they really do well they. They're fun to compete with I mean I have enjoyed my my battles that Jimmie and I think people look back and say in whether body -- this championship people back in and have a lot of respect for what he's done and you know but. So yeah -- I think it is what it is we all operate under the same rules."

" All right Carl thanks for the time for more racing videos make sure to keep a log on foxsports.com. I'm Dennis Ackerman."
